Grimes

Claire Elise Boucher (/bu:'SeI/ boo-SHAY, born on 17 March 1998) who is also known professionally as Grimes she is an Canadian musician and singer/songwriter and record producer. [2][3] The range of her music from the beginning was described as "lo hi R&B" as well as "futuristic dance-pop". She has also used elements of hip hop electronic music and rock. Her lyrics frequently address the themes of science fiction and feminists. There have been five albums. She was raised and born in Vancouver (later relocated into Montreal), Grimes began making music on her own in the late 2000s she released two albums: Geidi Primes as well as Halfaxa which were released in 2010, on Arbutus Records. The album was released in 2012 and Visions the third album she released on her studio. She signed with 4AD. Visions includes the singles "Genesis" as well as "Oblivion" as well as being presented with an award called the Juno Award in Canada for Electronic Album of the year. Art Angels, her fourth studio record, was released in 2015. Numerous publications praised it as the most successful album. Miss Anthropocene was her fifth album in the studio. Grimes has also been an actor and judge on Alter Ego's musical competitions had a role as the vocalist in Cyberpunk 2077 which was released in 2020. Grimes Grimes Grimes
